The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree (BA or BSc) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university and should be proficient in computers (Word Processing and Spreadsheets).They must have passed the matriculation exam with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject or an equivalent exam in Punjabi.If not, they can still apply but must pass the Punjabi exam during the probation period. SOCIETY FOR CENTRALIZED RECRUITMENT OF STAFF IN SUBORDINATE (S.S.S.C.) SELECTION PROCESS
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will have 60 multiple-choice questions on English Composition and General Knowledge, totaling 60 marks with no negative marking. The test duration is 1 hour.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on normalized marks if the test is held in multiple shifts. Three times the number of vacancies will be selected for the next stage. If multiple candidates have the same marks at the cutoff, all will proceed to the next stage.

1. English Shorthand & Transcription Test – Dictation at 80 WPM, transcribed at 20 WPM on a computer. More than 8% errors will result in disqualification.

2. Spreadsheet Test – A 10-mark test of 10 minutes. Candidates must score at least 40% (4 marks) to qualify.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SOCIETY FOR CENTRALIZED RECRUITMENT OF STAFF IN SUBCORDINATE 2025
E-Admit Cards of provisionally eligible applicants will be uploaded on the website. Applicants will also receive E-mail/SMS in this regard. The applicants can download and get print out of their E-Admit Cards by visiting the website www.sssc.gov.in again by entering their registration ID and password. Admit Cards shall not be sent by post.The applicants shall paste their photograph, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/Self attested, on the E-Admit Card. The photograph must be same as uploaded by the applicant in their online application form. In case of non-matching of photograph with the uploaded photograph, applicant will not be allowed to enter the examination centre and no request in this regard will be entertained in any circumstances at that time or anytime later.

The salary, pay and allowances etc. of the recommended candidates will be governed as per the latest rules and instructions issued by Government of Punjab and duly adopted for Subordinate Courts of Punjab from time to time.

Examination can be conducted anywhere in Northern India. The decision of competent authority with regard to allotment of examination centre shall be final and no request for change in examination centre/city will be entertained.
ANSWER KEY /CROSS OBJECTIONS OF Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2025
After the completion of the Computer Based Test, provisional Answer Key shall be provided to the candidates on the official website of S.S.S.C. i.e. www.sssc.gov.in.
