Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced a total of 6000 posts of Haryana police constable on 12^th February 2024. 5000 out of 6000 posts have been reserved for men and 1000 have been reserved for women. The candidates applying for Haryana police constable posts must not be younger than 18 years old and older than 25 years old. Online applications for Haryana police constable posts will be accepted from 20th February to 21st March 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Constable Recruitment, Haryana 2024:

Aspirants who wish to apply for Haryana police constable posts need to complete all eligibility criteria to apply. The Eligibility Criteria for Haryana police constable are divided into two parts, Age and Qualification.

AGE – The candidates applying for Haryana police constable posts should not be older than 25 years of age and should not be younger than 18 years.

QUALIFICATION – The candidates should have passed at least the 12th class either with science or commerce or arts. Candidates also need to have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of their subjects in Matric.
Any candidates with any higher education qualification will not be given any weightage.

HSSC Constable Bharti 2024 Selection Process:

The candidates applying for HSSC Constable will be selected based on four different stages of exams. Candidates will have to clear stage 1 to be eligible for stage 2 and henceforth.

STAGE 1 –
Qualifying Tests: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Common Eligibility Test (CET), followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST). The commission will shortlist candidates for the Knowledge Test, aiming for four times the advertised post vacancies.

STAGE 2 –
Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates must meet the standards set by Haryana Police Service Rules regarding physical measurements. Digital devices will be used for accuracy, and results will be posted on the official website. Candidates failing to meet PMT standards will be disqualified.

STAGE 3 –
Physical Screening Test (PST): Qualified candidates from PMT will undergo PST to assess physical fitness. Standards include completing a set distance within a specific time frame. Results will be posted online, and failing PST will lead to disqualification.

STAGE 4 –
Knowledge Test: Candidates qualifying PMT and PST will proceed to the Knowledge Test, which holds 94.5% weightage. It includes objective questions covering various subjects like General Studies, Current Affairs, Reasoning, and basic computer knowledge. Candidates need to secure minimum marks for consideration, with concessions for reserved categories.
