Responsibilities of Salesforce Technical Architect
The Technical Architect role involves:
- Leading workshops and demonstrating leadership in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions.
- Expertise in User Journey preparations, User Story reviews, Data Modeling, Apex Design Patterns, LWC, and modern UI techniques.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, driving conversations with their Enterprise Architects and business partners to shape architectural vision and establish a program architectural roadmap.
- Managing customer expectations and negotiating solutions to complex problems with customers and third-party partners.
- Guiding customers, partners, and implementation teams on implementing digital transformation with Salesforce Industries.
- Establishing trust with customer leadership and promoting standard processes with Salesforce Industries and Salesforce.
- Building sophisticated business processes using native Salesforce Industries technology and the toolkit of the Force.com platform and integration tools.
- Working closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions to meet client needs.
- Highlighting and managing risk areas in the solution proactively and committing to resolving issues.
Qualification For Salesforce Technical Architect
- The ideal candidate should have:
- 10+ years of experience in developing technology solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in handling client-facing projects with increasing responsibility in systems development and related business consulting.
- Expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, and Vlocity Omni Studio.
- Experience in domains such as Communications and Media, Healthcare & Insurance, Finance, or Generic.
- Expertise in domains like Banking (retail, commercial, investment, mortgage lending and servicing), Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management.
- Integration Architecture knowledge.
- Platform Security knowledge.
- Identity and Access Management / Integration Security knowledge.
- Sharing and Visibility understanding.
- Data Architecture and Management understanding.
- Architectural Design Patterns knowledge.
- Apex Design Patterns expertise.
- Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, Lightning, LWC, and experience with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, others).
- Salesforce Certification Preferred (Admin, Developer, Sales, and Service Clouds, Application Architect).
- Omni Studio Developer/Consultant expertise.
