EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
● A candidate must have completed a six-year integrated postgraduate master’s program at a regional college of education approved by NCERT, or have a master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited university with at least 50% in Aggregate or its equivalent.
● The candidate must possess a B.Ed. or a degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, from an accredited university or institution.
● A B. Ed. degree is not required in order to be eligible for the position of PGT in the following subjects: commerce, education, geology, home science, psychology, sociology, IRPM, Telugu, and Urdu.
● The requirement for the position of PGT in Botany, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geography, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, and Political Science a B.Ed. degree is required.
