The selection process should be based on a combined written, career assessment, and viva-voce exam. The following is the distribution of marks:

Career Assessment:
Candidates with an M.Phit., Ph.D., and NET in the relevant field will receive up to 25 points. Similarly, candidates who receive a maximum of 10 marks will be awarded M. Phit. /J. R. F. and/or NET, or M. Phit. with NET
Written Exam: A 150-point written exam will be administered to candidates.
There will be one hundred multiple-choice questions on the subject matter in the test.
Each question will be worth one and a half marks. Every inaccurate entry will result in a 0.5 mark deduction.
Viva-Voce Test: During the last phase, candidates should undergo a 25-point oral exam.
