Orissa High Court Assistant Section Officer Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible, a candidate should be over 21 (Twenty-One) years old but under 32 (Thirty-Two) years old by 14-05-2024, meaning they must have been born on or before 13.05.2003 and on or after 15.05.1992.
  The upper age limit can be extended by 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC, and women candidates, and by 10 years for PWDs with a permanent disability between 40% and 50%. Individuals with disabilities from SC/ST/SEBC backgrounds can obtain a total age relaxation of 15 years, with 10 years for the PWD category and 5 years for the SC/ST/SEBC category.
• Furthermore, Group-“C” and Group-“D” court employees who meet the qualifications for the position are eligible for a maximum age relaxation of 5 (five) years.
• The State Government will provide age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen candidates as per the Acts, Rules, Orders, or instructions relevant to the matter.
• In cases where a candidate falls into multiple categories, they will receive age relaxation benefits from only one category, whichever is most advantageous for them.

• Only the birth date recorded in the High School Certificate or equivalent certificate from the relevant Board/Council will be considered valid.
