Application procedure of NTA UGC NET 2024 (June):
Candidates are advised to go through the procedure of application step by step carefully before applying for the exam of UGC Net 2024.
- The mode of application is only online there is no other mode of application.
- Candidates have to apply through the website https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/
- Candidates can apply only one application form if anybody applies more than one application form action will be taken.
- Before applying, go through all the information on the website properly then start filling up the form.
- Click on the application form, then click on ‘New Registration’
- Enter the required details and complete the registration
- Upload scanned pictures of passport size photo (10-200 kb) and signature (4-30 kb). Both images should be in JPEG format
- Pay the application fee
- After confirmation click on submit.
- Candidates have to give the correct Email ID and mobile number of their parents or Guardians as all the information from NTA will be SENT to the registered email ID and mobile number.

Stipend :
The stipend for the research scholars for the initial two years is 35,000 rupees per month. From 3rd year it will be Rupees 42,000.

Qualification of NTA UGC NET 2024 :
The Qualification required for candidates to appear in NTA UGC NET 2024 June is mentioned below
- General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC, in Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc. are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Third gender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
- Candidates pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course, candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. Then, the admission will be Provisional. They shall be considered eligible for award of JRF/eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC-NCL/ SC / ST / PwD / Third gender category candidates), failing which they will be disqualified.

Age limit of NTA UGC NET 2024: The Age limit criteria for NTA UGC NET 2024 June for JRF is not more than 30 years.
Admit Card of NTA UGC NET 2024: The Admit Card for NTA UGC NET 2024 June will be issued provisionally to the candidates of UGC – NET June 2024, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on the date, shift, time, and discipline as indicated in his/her Admit Card. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on the Date and Timings other than that allotted to them in the admit card.
Declaration of results of NTA UGC NET 2024: Declaration of results for NTA UGC NET 2024 June will be done according to certain criteria. To be considered, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate
marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) / General-EWS category candidates and at least 35% aggregate
marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories (viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer), PwD, and Third gender).
