Steps involved in the Selection Procedure:
1. The shortlisting of applications will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree after normalization.
2. Shortlisting for SSB will be based on the marks obtained by candidates pursuing BE/B Tech up to their fifth semester.
3. Postgraduate degree holders who possess an MSc, MCA, MBA, or M Tech will have their academic progress scrutinized by assessing the marks they received in all semesters. In contrast, prospective final-year students will be selected based on their pre-final-year grades.
4. Individuals selected for the final ranking list must provide proof of achieving a qualifying degree with a minimum score of 60% by emailing it to officer@navy.gov.in to be considered.
5. Those candidates who have made it to the shortlist will be notified of their selection for the SSB interview either through email or SMS.
6. Modifying the SSB Center for an interview is not allowed.
7. If you have inquiries regarding SSB dates, kindly contact the call-up officer of the corresponding SSB for assistance.
8. No compensation is allowed for any injuries that occur during SSB interviews.
9. Candidates who are appearing for a specific commission type can request reimbursement of their AC 3-tier rail fare as valid expenses during the SSB interview. To claim this, they must submit a photocopy of the first page of their passbook or check leaf containing necessary details such as name, account number, and IFSC code.
