HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

Candidates must qualify for the physical measurement, physical screening, and knowledge tests to be recruited for the 5600 constable positions. The following is the exam pattern for the respective posts –

PHYSICAL SCREENING TEST

Candidates must qualify for the physical measurement test to appear for the physical screening test. This test will evaluate the physical fitness and endurance of the candidates.

KNOWLEDGE TEST

Candidates can appear for the knowledge test only after they have cleared the physical measurement and physical screening test. The following is the pattern for the test –

1. The question paper will be bilingual, i.e. (English and Hindi).

2. The total questions for the test will be 100. Each question will weigh 0.945.

3. There is no negative marking for the test. However, if the candidate fails to attempt a question, 0.945 will be deducted for that particular question.

4. Candidates are allotted 105 minutes to attempt the Haranya Police Constable OMR-based Exam.

5. The questions will only be of objective type.

6. Candidates in the general category must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the knowledge test. Candidates must secure at least 40% marks in a reserved category post.
