GANJAM COURT RECRUITMENT 2024 ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility criteria for Ganjam Court Recruitment  2024 for various 39 posts differs for each post. Candidates who are willing to apply for the post of Junior Clerk-cum-copyist, Stenographer and Junior Typist must have a Diploma in Computer Application, and at least +3 Examination equivalent to a Degree from any recognized University. Candidate should be able to speak read and write Odia and must have passed the M.E standard equivalent from any recognised University. The election process for Ganjam Court recruitment 2024 will be conducted based on a written examination, shorthand typewriting test, Computer Science practical test and Viva-voce test.

Eligible candidates

  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Must be of age between 18 to 36 as on 20.6.2024
  • Should possess good character. 
  • Should be of sound health, good physique, free from any communicable disease or physically unchallenged.
  • Should not have any criminal background.
  • Should have only one spouse living, if married.
  • Must have registered name in Employment Exchange.
  • Must possess a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English for the post of Junior Typist.
  • Must possess a minimum typing speed of 80 words in shorthand and 40 words in English for the post of Stenographer Grade III.

Those who are working either under State or Central Government, whether temporary or permanent within the above-mentioned age limit can also apply with a “No Objection Certificate” from their respective Heads of Office.

  • English Written exam comprises an essay, a letter or application, one Oriya passage, One English passage and a Summary.
  • Arithmetic topics included are Vulgar fractions and decimals, H.C.F & L.C.M, Simple and Compound Interest, Simple and Compound practise, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Mixtures, Partnership, Averages, Rates & Taxes, Insurance, Square and Cubic Measures, Problems on time and work and on time and distance.
  • General Knowledge topics include Current affairs and day-to-day observation which are experienced by a qualified person.

  • Skill Test: Candidates will be dictated 400 words passage in 5 minutes by the examiner for the above-mentioned post. Candidates need to reproduce shorthand text of 400 words in 10 minutes
