BARC Recruitment 2024 Vacancies

The BARC is inviting applications on prescribed format from retired personnel of Driver Cadre on superannuation from DAE or its Constituents. The vacancies are for 50 Driver post for performing Driver Duties at BARC at Mumbai Location.

BARC Recruitment 2024 Eligibity Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification for BARC Recruitment 2024 before applying. Candidates should have retired on superannuation from Driver Cadre of DAE or its Constituent Units and should be below the age of 65 (Sixty Five) years. Those who are retiring superannuation w.e.f. 30.06.2024 are also eligible to apply. Candidates should possess a valid driving licence for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) issued by the Competent Authority. Applicant should also be medically fit to apply for the post of Driver.

BARC recruitment 2024 Salary

The re-engagement shall be initially for a period of one year which is extendable as per department discretion.The re-engagement shall be purely contractual. The monthly remuneration will be 50% of the last drawn pay. Transport Allowance will be 50% of the allowance drawn at the time of retirement. The Drivers may be allowed TA/ DA on official tour. They will be eligible for paid leave absence of 1.5 days for each completed month of service. The Staff is not eligible for any increment, Dearness Allowance, HRA, GPF or Gratuity for the period of service.
